Intermission: Late Summer Inspirations

Just a few things that have inspired me as of late:

A great dinner/cocktail party hosted by dear friends in Astoria, Queens; shoes say a lot about a nice crowd.

A view of the sunset at aforementioned party, grape vines flanking their terrace.

Making root beer floats with homemade ice cream.

The creative use of trash in fencing off a sidewalk plot in South Slope, Brooklyn.

The fort we created from a sarong for a little shade on a gorgeous (albeit windy) beach day.

Do email me to tell me things that have inspired you or upload photos to the Facebook page, and I’ll post a round-up with everyone’s inspiring highlights next week.
