Bring it, Spring

Springtime is here in Texas, or very near for other areas. I can’t help but wander around in my usual state of amazement over how nature works.

Texas Mountain Laurel, Texas-sized. Yes, I know it looks like wisteria, but it’s not. That’s in our next round of Spring!

I’m not sure what this tree is, but their blooms are magenta, pink and a mix of both like this flower. Any ideas from Texas native tree lovers?

You can’t post about Spring in Texas without a heft dose of our bluebonnets.

I’m lucky to be in Tucson for the Tucson Festival of Books during the aromatic and divine time of the orange and citrus blossoms.
